Kev Turner - highest qualified Course Director in Spain
our Course Director Kev (Don’t call him Kevin he gets offended!) is an English national who started diving off the coast of Kenya and has dived and worked in diverse location such as the UK, Malta, Thailand, Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia, Egypt, Honduras and of course the Canaries.
He has had over 10 years working within PADI Instructor Development programs.

  • DAN Oxygen Instructor Trainer
  • Over 2000 logged dives
Kev arrived 2005 on Lanzarote after spending a year teaching IDCs on Utila / Honduras and before that 2 years within Instructor development at a PADI CDC in Egypt.

He has worked as a Divemaster, filling tanks, loading boats, acting as a dive guide all the way through to being a manager of several PADI dive centers and partner of a successful PADI Dive center and is familiar with all aspects of the business of diving.

Working extensively in both resort "tourist" environments in a variety of tropical locations and the "city orientated" environments of London and Christchurch (NZ) he is familiar with the benefits and drawbacks of both. Knowledge drawn from these experiences together with his background in sales management adds a lot of valuable information to the various business and marketing presentations during the IDC and career advancement programs.

Just recently, Kev has finished his DSAT Tec Instructor Trainer ratings - the only problem Kev is haviing is finding the time to actually GO DIVE!!!!
Simone Lämmle – only teaching woman PADI Course Director in Spain
 
Simone is originally from Germany and has lived many years in England and Spain. Her passion diving started in the cold waters off the south coast in England. Having explored many wrecks out of England. Last year she completed her Course Director Training Course in Malaysia and since then Canary Island Divers had not just one but two resident Course Directors!
